$64,000 – $97,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
Analyze manufacturing costs, including direct labor, materials, and overhead, to identify efficiencies and cost reduction opportunities.
Develop and maintain financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and long‑range planning, incorporating production volumes and capacity.
Conduct detailed variance analysis between actual manufacturing costs and budgeted/standard costs, providing actionable insights.
Evaluate capital expenditure requests for new equipment or facility upgrades, performing ROI and payback period analyses.
Prepare comprehensive financial reports and dashboards for operational management, highlighting key performance indicators (KPIs) related to production and inventory.
Support the monthly close process by analyzing inventory valuations, cost of goods sold (COGS), and production variances.
Perform profitability analysis by product line, customer, or manufacturing plant to support strategic decision‑making.
Recommended Qualifications
Strong proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and variance analysis.
Solid understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles.
Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and financial planning software.
Proficiency in cost accounting principles and analysis within a manufacturing environment.
Advanced Excel skills for data manipulation, analysis, and dashboard creation.
Bonus Qualifications
Experience with major manufacturing ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O).
Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles or other continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma).
Understanding of supply chain finance and inventory management best practices.
Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) for operational and financial reporting.
