About the Role We’re embarking on an exciting new phase in the expansion of our Procurement target operating model and we’re seeking talented individuals to help shape our global Procurement teams. By building new capabilities in sourcing, contracting, data analytics, reporting, system and process improvements, third‑party risk management and vendor management, we will create a function that is proactively called upon by the business to enable growth while reducing cost and managing risk.
As a Contracting Specialist, you operate at a global level, shaping supplier partnerships while ensuring we meet strict legal, regulatory, and internal standards. In this fast‑paced, collaborative role you’ll support sourcing efforts across a variety of categories, delivering measurable cost savings and long‑term value. You’ll lead negotiation of commercial terms and fees, manage the contracting process end‑to‑end, and ensure all requisitions and documentation are accurate and timely.
Key Responsibilities
Handle small to medium negotiations, including contract work, market analysis, and financial analysis
Support supplier onboarding
Manage contract lifecycle, including new contracts and renewals
Interact with stakeholders and cross‑functional teams in support of supplier sourcing
Prepare reporting and presentations as needed
Manage small to medium tail suppliers throughout their lifecycle
What will you bring to the role? You should be resilient, adaptable, and thrive in a fast‑paced environment. Your detail orientation and commitment to operational excellence will help keep everything running smoothly. You’ll analyze market trends and financial data to support new and renewal contract decisions, and maintain an accurate contract management system. Your insights will contribute to cost avoidance initiatives, category‑specific strategies, and overall procurement innovation. You’ll drive tail spending initiatives and strengthen supplier relationships, positioning Procurement as a source of competitive advantage and continuous improvement.
Required
Strong knowledge of Procurement Categories and the associated supplier landscape
Experience negotiating commercial terms and fees
7 years of procurement negotiation experience
Minimum project management qualification, or substantial experience in this field
Preferred
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Economics, Finance, Operations or a related area
Industry certification such as FCIPS, CIPS, IACCM, CPSM, Continuous Improvement or equivalent
