McCoy Construction & Forestry, a John Deere dealership group with 25 locations across the Midwest and East South Central Regions, has an opening for a Yard Specialist.
Our Yard Specialist will help with tasks within all departments. The goal is to limit all departments’ downtime to more efficiently run the day-to-day business. While performing the job duties, a Yard Specialist will gain basic knowledge of how each department operates.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (not in order of priority):
Power Wash, align and rotate equipment displays to create the best image for the business.
Provide thorough inspection of new equipment, have a current list of equipment and attachments in inventory.
Receive and check in equipment for service, along with coordinating daily activities of equipment at the branch.
Assist in loading equipment that will be leaving the store, ensure equipment has proper documentation.
Deliver parts and machine attachments to customers.
Work in conjunction with all departments to maintain a clean and safe environment for customers & employees.
Education, Skills & Knowledge Preferred:
Construction & Forestry equipment knowledge is highly recommended.
Understanding of mechanical and technical terms
High school diploma or equivalent
Forklift Certification (will train on the job for right candidate)
Experience with basic computer functions, communicating effectively.
Must be 21 years of age
Paid Time Off-80 Hours in the first year!
$200.00 Annual Prescription Safety Glasses allowance.
