We’re seeking a driven and experienced SMB Sponsorship Sales Director to join our growing Event Sales Team . This role will focus on developing sponsorships for the Ebonized Chill Tour and virtual events while managing and motivating the sponsorship sales team.

Tasks

Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect, pitch, and close sponsorships and partnerships for Ebonized Chill Tour events and virtual experiences.
  • Customize sponsorship packages to align with business goals and marketing objectives of SMB partners.
  • Attend Ebonized Chill Tour events (50% travel) — travel covered by the company — to engage potential sponsors and build interest for the 2026 global tour .
  • Work closely with the Appointment Setter Manager to ensure appointment setters are aligned with outreach and lead generation goals.
  • Take qualified appointments set by the appointment setting team and conduct sales presentations to close deals.
  • Mentor and support the sales team to ensure all goals are consistently met.
  • Maintain consistent team performance — the sponsorship sales team should never fall below $20,000 in monthly revenue.
  • Track performance, pipeline activity, and provide regular reports on sponsorship outcomes.

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Proven success in sponsorship, advertising, or event sales (music, live events, or entertainment industries preferred).
  • Experience managing or mentoring a small sales team or reps.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% for tour events (company-covered).
  • Comfortable working in a performance-driven, commission-based structure.
  • Based in or near Atlanta, GA (preferred).

Benefits

Compensation Structure

  • 100% commission-based to start.
  • After closing your third personal deal , you’ll activate a $1,500/month retainer (paid bi-weekly).
  • Within 90 days, if team goals are met, the retainer increases to $2,500/month.
  • The maximum retainer for this role is $3,000/month , based on leadership performance and consistency.

Commissions & Incentives

  • Personal Commission: 25% per deal.
  • Increases to 30% once you personally close $10,000 minimum in sponsorship revenue consistently for 60 days.
  • Team Override: 5% override on total team sales (paid monthly, on the first Friday of each month).
  • Quarterly Bonus: $2,000 bonus if the team generates a minimum of $150,000 in sponsorship revenue for the quarter.
  • Paid the first Friday of the month following the close of the quarter.
  • Personal commissions are paid immediately after sponsor payments clear.
