What Our Financial Advisors Do
Act as the personal coach for military families, focusing on a constantly evolving financial plan that meets short‑term and long‑term goals.
Help military families manage day‑to‑day finances, build lifetime assets and protect against the unexpected.
Engage with the community to bring new clients to First Command, supported by the local district team and Home Office.
Partner directly with local military organizations, units and other supporting institutions.
Coach military families on comprehensive financial plans that include:
Savings and banking
Investments and wealth management
Insurance and risk management
What We Offer
A specialized licensing and comprehensive training program designed for veterans, transitioning service members and military spouses to start and grow a successful career.
Support in pursuing full registration and licensing, including the SIE, S6, S63, S65 and state Life & Health licenses.
Paid training program: initial 3 months with an hourly wage (minimum wage of the state), followed by a salaried position with progressive incentives for the remainder of the nine‑month training period.
After training, the option to become an independent contractor with no cap on earning potential based on commissions, residual income, bonuses and deferred compensation.
Professional development, including leadership programs, classroom training and annual workshops to prepare for future leadership roles.
Flexible schedule and portable career opportunities across the United States.
Desired Qualifications
Military experience or affiliation.
Bachelor’s degree.
Proven leadership skills.
