Relationship Banker I (Fairhope Branch)
Regions is seeking a Relationship Banker I to provide an exceptional customer experience on the cash line and over the phone, contributing to the financial wellness of our customers at the Fairhope South Greeno Road branch. This role offers an opportunity for individuals with prior teller, limited banking, or retail sales experience to grow within the organization.
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver consistent optimal customer service on the cash line, handling deposits, withdrawals, payments, and other teller transactions.
Answer customer inquiries regarding products and services and fulfill basic servicing requests such as card issues, information changes, PIN resets, check reorders, and problem resolution.
Build and maintain relationships, staying informed on customers' banking relationships.
Educate customers on standard consumer products and digital solutions (mobile, online, ATM).
Assist branch and team members with basic tasks to resolve customer issues.
Refer complex financial goals to internal experts.
Follow all bank processes, procedures, and regulations; support branch manager in maintaining sound banking practices.
Help achieve branch targets by identifying customer needs and recommending appropriate Regions solutions.
Conduct outbound phone calls using lead lists to educate customers on emerging technology and meet financial needs.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED.
Willingness to work Saturdays as needed.
Cash handling experience and ability to process transactions.
Strong communication skills in person, on the phone, and electronically.
Computer proficiency, including typing and sustained on-screen attention.
Physical ability to walk, stand, and lift up to 20 pounds.
Preferences:
At least one year of banking, cash-handling, or customer service experience.
Skills & Competencies:
Adherence to policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Assistance with digital banking offerings.
Ability to multitask.
Cash oversight capabilities.
Strong customer focus and relationship-building.

Compensation:
Target salary: $35,640.99 - $42,192.00 USD (Median: $42,192.00)
