Overview
Primary Focus: To set up all new orders containing the most time-sensitive commodities for success, provide proactive updates to customers on any deviations and track order status progression from start to finish. This role is part of the Airspace Operations team and is designed to provide a foundation for growth within the company. Responsibilities
Operating the Airspace Platform Set up new orders by adhering to standard practices and client-specific SOPs Rapidly move between critical tasks and ensure milestones are completed accurately and on time Navigate and interpret airline booking and tracking websites Follow all process and communication standards across multiple platforms Stay independently informed by reviewing all communications across company platforms Proactive Customer Updates Relay delays, issues, and updates professionally via verbal and written communication Anticipate events (weather, traffic) and offer alternatives to meet or beat delivery times Intuitive Problem Solving Update, manage, and/or change airway bills with training Source driver coverage for order segments Use situational awareness to request/deny additional driver incentives as needed Apply training and experience to find practical solutions Follow escalation procedures with guidance from senior team members Handling All Inbound and Outbound Communications Timely acknowledgment and action of email, phone, and text requests Meet minimum metrics for phone availability and acceptance Proper use of phone statuses and adherence to guidelines Process orders for customers unable to use the online portal Identify and resolve issues from inbound communications Cross-sector phone call resolution Maintaining Balanced Level of Performance Meet minimum metric requirements and customer service standards for an entry-level position; expectations increase with advancement All expectations communicated by the direct supervisor Requirements
