Base Pay Range $62,000.00/yr - $84,000.00/yr

Position Summary Provides supervision and development opportunities for hourly Associates in the assigned area by hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, evaluating performance, promoting a belonging mindset in the workplace, and providing recognition. Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures, local, state, and federal regulations. Holds Associates accountable by analyzing reports, implementing asset protection and safety controls, maintaining quality assurance standards, and overseeing safety and operational reviews. Develops action plans to correct deficiencies, ensures confidentiality of information, and guides execution of company programs and strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities

Manage the financial performance of the area: create budgets for sales, expenses, and wages; monitor club indexing and ensure budgeted numbers are achieved; maintain sales and profit goals.

Ensure department staffing levels meet company guidelines, schedule and train associates to meet member needs.

Collaborate with opening and closing managers to ensure smooth transition between day and night operations and enforce opening/closing procedures.

Improve the Member experience and engagement by ensuring appropriate service levels, competitive pricing, accurate signage, and proper merchandise presentation.

Drive sales in the assigned area by managing inventory levels, assessing economic trends, overseeing stocking and rotation of merchandise, and monitoring expenses.

Enforce food safety standards, cold chain compliance, and merchandise quality through temperature, sanitation, date coding, product rotation, and recall reviews.

Coordinate job‑related activities, develop relationships with stakeholders, and support plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs.

Identify and communicate goals, build accountability, measure progress, and address improvement opportunities while promoting continuous learning.

Qualifications Minimum Qualifications

2 or more years of college; OR 1 year of retail experience with 6 months of supervisory experience; OR 2 years of general work experience and 1 year of supervisory experience; OR 1 year of SAM'S Club experience; OR 3 years of military experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Environmental compliance or related field.

Retail profit and loss statement management experience.

Supervisory experience.

Warehouse experience with cold chain compliance.
