Responsibilities

Facilitate daily carrier downloads into agency management system.

Generate Certificate’s of Insurance to all commercial clients as needed.

Direct contact for prospective business insureds that have had no prior insurance coverage.

Provide prompt, accurate, friendly service by responding to inquiries from existing policyholders regarding insurance availability, eligibility, policy changes, claim submission procedures, rates, billing procedures, and payment plans for small business accounts.

Evaluate, review, remarket, and strategize with producers on standard market commercial renewal policies for small business accounts as needed.

Evaluate, review, remarket, and strategize with producers on excess and surplus lines commercial renewal policies for small business accounts as needed.

Provide ethical advice to commercial policyholders on matters of protection and coverage.

Manage and update commercial customer databases within agency management software for small business accounts.

Requirements

Education: Bachelor's degree, preferably in business, or insurance industry experience equivalent is required.

Experience: A minimum of 1 year of customer service or sales experience, preferably within the insurance or financial services industry.

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with clients.

Problem‑Solving: Strong problem‑solving abilities and de‑escalation skills to manage customer concerns.

Customer Focus: Dedicated to providing top‑notch customer service with a positive attitude.

Attention to Detail: Keen attention to detail to ensure accuracy in data entry and client information management.

Technical Skills: Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and database management software.
