Base pay range
$140,000.00/yr - $160,000.00/yr
A well-established Manhattan construction management / general contracting firm is looking for a Project Superintendent to participate in the oversight of major redevelopment projects in Manhattan and other Boroughs. Ideal candidates will have 5+ years of experience as a Construction Superintendent with mixed use and/or residential development projects with budgets of $50MM or more. Preferably significant experience with MEP interiors and envelope.
Core Responsibilities
Trade Coordination: Lead daily scheduling and planning for interiors and MEP trades (mechanical, electrical, plumbing).
Site Management: Maintain a safe, clean, and secure site, including managing shanties, staging areas, and temporary services.
Production & Scheduling: Manage short- and long-term production schedules, coordinate installation sequencing, and follow up on long‑lead orders.
Quality Control: Ensure all installations are code‑compliant, consistent with drawings, and meet high‑level integrity standards.
Record Keeping: Generate daily reports, progress photos, "look‑ahead" schedules, and maintain as‑built drawings and RFI logs.
Key Qualifications
Experience: 5+ years of field experience in construction, specifically with multifamily mid‑ and high‑rise projects.
Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of MEP systems, interiors, and local/federal construction regulations.
Background: A background in relevant trades prior to becoming a superintendent is a plus.
Software: Proficiency in tools for accident reports and daily logs.
Salary: $140,000 - $160,000 per year.

5 days on‑site/in‑office in NYC.
