Job Title:
Associate Defense Attorney
Location:
Remote – California (Must be CA-barred)
Key Responsibilities:
Manage a caseload of civil defense matters, including general liability, personal injury, premises liability, and/or insurance defense.
Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and other legal documents.
Conduct depositions, legal research, and case evaluations.
Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and arbitrations.
Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
Active member of the California State Bar in good standing.
2–6 years of litigation or insurance defense experience preferred.
Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $170,000 – $220,000 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
