ACERTUS
The Key Account Coordinator I is responsible for managing and coordinating key client accounts to ensure the smooth and efficient flow of logistics operations. This is a full‑time, in‑office position.
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 10:30 am to 7:00 pm.
Pay: $20 – $22/hour, based on experience.
What will you be doing?
Receive and handle inbound calls from drivers and customers.
Initiate outbound calls to drivers for status updates on shipments.
Efficiently dispatch loads to drivers, ensuring timely arrivals at destinations.
Deliver price quotes to customers via phone or email.
Resolve pickup or delivery issues promptly, addressing concerns raised by customers or drivers.
Foster relationships with carriers to enhance speed‑to‑market capabilities and overall efficiency.
Monitor dispatched orders and closely track pickup and delivery timelines.
Engage in daily communication with customers, providing details regarding pickup and delivery logistics via email, phone, and chat.
Communicate in a timely manner with all customer enquiries.
Talk with drivers daily to ensure they are on time to hit customer service agreements.
Help schedule drivers when customers have special events like store openings, closures, or tent sales.
Ensure drivers are equipped with all necessary paperwork for successful vehicle loading.
Collaborate with various departments, including accounting, to guarantee accurate pricing and timely payment processes at the end of each month.
Work directly with clients and 3rd‑party locations to resolve issues preventing a driver from picking up or delivering vehicles.
Work closely with Key Account Leads and Managers to handle customer requests in a timely and accurate manner.
Audit auto bundles to ensure loads are not built overweight for drivers.
Ensure vehicles with high value are marked and shipped enclosed truck versus open.
All other duties assigned by management.
What are we looking for?
High school diploma or GED required.
Prior customer service experience preferred.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency with order entry software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast‑paced environment.
Knowledge of transportation industry practices and regulations is advantageous.
