Job Description
Cornerstone Building Brands is looking to hire a highly motivated sales professional for the position of District Sales Manager in the Northeast. This teammate will report to the Regional Manager and will be responsible for profitable growth and market development of the territory. The role represents our MBCI brand and product line.
Positioned within MBCI’s Commercial Roof & Wall segment, with direct sales to sub-contractors, general contractors & roofing contractors
Develops and implements market plans that include customer analysis, competitive insights, growth opportunities, and revenue goals
Comprehensive understanding of all products and systems offered by Cornerstone Building Brands in the market
Demonstrates a complete understanding of key customer's business and the critical measures that drive each account
Works effectively and collaboratively with all Cornerstone Building Brands internal departments to ensure customer experience is optimized and efficient
Ability to work with Operating Systems
Qualifications
College degree or equivalent work experience
2+ years of proven sales/marketing or sales management experience, 5+ years of experience in Building Materials
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate and maintain positive relationships with all Cornerstone Building System’s associates, customers, subsidiaries, agents
Understanding of construction process
Ability to comprehend and translate architectural plans and specifications preferred
Ability to analyze market conditions and competition and develop strategic responses to opportunities
Understanding of Drafting, Estimating, and Inside Sales processes
Ability to work independently and in a team environment is essential
Must be able to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously50-70% travel in market (2-3 overnights per week)
Must be at least 18 years of age to apply
Additional Information The US average base salary for this role is $70,000-90,000 + sales incentive + auto allowance + medical, dental, vision benefits starting day 1 + 401k and PTO. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Full‑time is defined as regularly working 30+ hours per week.
