Your Next Opportunity The BIM Modeler III is responsible for providing modeling efforts for both project delivery and standards.

This leader of the production team typically serves as the Model Manager, overseeing all functions of a BIM project—including drawings, model quality, and coordination files.

The role efficiently takes part in and supervises modeling and documentation, supporting and training other staff as needed.

What You’ll Do

Perform all tasks of a BIM Modeler II.

Work with the Family Development Team to revise standards or meet a project’s needs.

Lead and supervise the modeling and documentation of projects.

Provide effective verbal and written direction to support staff.

Manage all aspects of assigned projects, advising on resource needs, progress, and potential impacts on scope, schedule, and budget.

Create and maintain an Electrical Revit model using backgrounds from other trades while following all REI standards.

Collaborate with a diverse team across multiple departments and disciplines.

Supervise the layout and input of marked‑up drawings into Revit in accordance with REI standards.

Adhere to any REI confidentiality and non‑disclosure requirements.

Accept additional duties as assigned by the business unit.

What You Bring to Us

Associate degree or Bachelor’s degree in Computerized Drafting, Architectural Design, or a related discipline with a minimum of 1 year of Revit experience, or a combination of education, training, and relevant experience.

Minimum 5 years of total experience with knowledge of electrical symbols and electrical drafting conventions and standards.

What You’ll Need to Be Successful

Effective performance management skills.

Advanced knowledge of Revit, including families, views, browser structure, sheets, schedules, filters, and related features.

Strong verbal and written communication, turning direction into constructable design documents.

Complete understanding of REI BIM processes, procedures, and standards, including workflow processes.

Fluency in reading 2‑D plans and schedules (e.g., lighting, panel, feeder).

Ability to type, proofread, and spell‑check work independently.

Knowledge of Revit work‑sharing process and methodology.

Proficiency in setting up Revit models, leading model teams, annotating, scheduling, assigning workload, and meeting deadlines.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Prioritization and multitasking skills, adapting to changing priorities.

Ability to work under pressure with a positive attitude.

Strong oral and written communication skills.

Self‑motivation, proactivity, and teamwork abilities.

Professional interaction with all levels of employees, vendors, clients, and others.

Working Conditions

General environment includes extended periods of sitting, standing, walking, typing, carrying, and occasional lifting up to 30 lbs.

Work is conducted primarily indoors with varying environmental conditions, such as fluorescent lighting and air conditioning.

Noise level typically low to medium, but can be louder on a job site.

Pay Range $41.00 – $54.00 hourly.

Pay may vary based on location, experience, skills, and education.
