SALES MANAGER – PARAMOUNT HOTEL TIMES SQUARE A very unique & challenging opportunity has become available for an experienced Sales Manager with Group sales background to join our Sales Team. We are looking for a result driven, passionate sales professional who has the drive, determination and hunger to seek out and win new business whilst raising the profile of the Generator brand and the properties in the region. Generator burst onto the scene in the Americas with the launch of Generator Miami and Washington DC and most recently took aim at the country’s biggest markets (NYC, LA, Miami, and Chicago) with the acquisition of Freehand Hotels. About Paramount Hotel Times Square Paramount Hotel is a New York City landmark located just steps from Times Square. Constructed in the French Renaissance style by Thomas W. Lamb in 1927, the building reflects the theatrical character of its neighborhood. The bustle of the street disappears as you step inside – with its two‑story lobby, reflective fireplace, dramatic lighting, and rich textures, it sets the stage for a hip, indulgent experience. Recently updated but retaining its historical charm, the Paramount Hotel is standing out – as the only hotel near Broadway NYC with genuine personality.
NUTS AND BOLTS OF THE JOB
Manage a portfolio of key accounts, maximizing groups opportunities
Pro‑actively seek out, take ownership and continually deliver new business opportunities across key markets
Build long‑term, commercially beneficial relationships within your market
Understand, develop and follow company and sales‑specific practices
Spend time with customers supporting their accommodation, F&B and event needs
Represent the company at key industry events
Report in a timely, consistent and professional manner on account and personal performance
Collect, review, analyze market and revenue data in order to plan and execute strategic plans
Plan, organize and manage a proactive and efficient business sales calendar

Organizational and prioritization skills in order to meet strict reporting deadlines
Strong team player with an enthusiasm to learn
Good communication skills with the ability to communicate well at all levels
