Position Summary At Spago Beverly Hills, service is an art form. The Server plays a key role in delivering a refined, warm, and memorable dining experience that reflects the legacy of Wolfgang Puck hospitality. As the primary point of contact for our guests in the dining room, the Server combines exceptional product knowledge, polished service skills, and genuine hospitality to anticipate needs, guide the dining experience, and create moments that feel both elevated and personal. Attention to detail, professionalism, and a passion for fine dining are essential.
Essential Responsibilities
Provide attentive, knowledgeable, and gracious food and beverage service throughout the guest experience
Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them promptly into the POS system
Communicate clearly with culinary and bar teams to ensure accuracy, timing, and special requests are executed flawlessly
Demonstrate strong menu and beverage knowledge to make thoughtful recommendations, including daily specials, cocktails, wine pairings, desserts, and after-dinner offerings
Consistently follow Spago’s steps of service to maintain the highest standards of hospitality
Monitor tables to ensure guest satisfaction, responding promptly and professionally to requests or concerns
Prepare and present guest checks, process payments accurately, and handle transactions with discretion
Complete opening and closing side work as assigned, maintaining a clean, organized, and polished service station
Assist with table setup, breakdown, and reconfiguration to accommodate varying party sizes and service flow
Support fellow team members as needed to ensure seamless service throughout the dining room
Perform additional duties as assigned to support restaurant operations
Pay: $16.90 / hour

Qualifications Education
High School Diploma or GED required
Experience
Minimum of 2 years of fine dining server experience
Previous experience using a POS system
Strong understanding of fine dining service standards, dining room etiquette, and hospitality principles
Ability to stand and move for extended periods of time
Open availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Exceptional guest service skills with a polished, professional demeanor
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment
Ability to remain calm, focused, and detail-oriented under pressure
Clear and effective communication skills, both verbal and written
Basic math skills and comfort handling payments and operating POS systems
Professional appearance, positive attitude, and a team-first mindset

Physical Requirements While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand for extended periods of time, twist at the neck and trunk, bend at the waist, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms, reach overhead, above shoulders, and horizontally. Employees will use hands to handle objects and tools, and operate service equipment. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 40-pound objects. Vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Employees may use vision to monitor food quality and quantity and may also order supplies, etc.
Work Conditions May require evening and weekend hours. The employee generally works in an indoor front of restaurant and kitchen environment with exposure to heat from ovens, hot foods and steamers and cleaning chemicals, fumes, equipment, and metal objects. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but may be loud depending on work site and/or equipment operation.
