About the Role Marea Beverly Hills, part of the renowned Altamarea Group, is seeking an experienced and professional server to provide an exceptional dining experience in our fine dining establishment. The ideal candidate will have an innate passion for hospitality, a strong understanding of luxury service, and the ability to deliver personalized and memorable experiences for our guests.
Must be available for Lunch Shift.
Key Responsibilities
Provide a welcoming and polished dining experience that reflects the standard of excellence of Marea.
Greet guests promptly, guide them through the menu, and make recommendations on dishes, beverages, and pairings, based on guest preferences.
Deliver accurate food and drink orders to guests in a timely manner, ensuring the correct presentation and temperature.
Monitor guest satisfaction, address requests or concerns proactively, and ensure their needs are met throughout their dining experience.
Provide personalized service, especially for returning or VIP guests, maintaining a professional yet warm demeanor.
Perform other duties as required by management.
Be able to move, stand, bend, lift, walk, kneel, and climb steps for duration of shift.
Essential Duties
Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the menu, including seasonal ingredients, preparation methods, and potential allergens.
Follow all opening and closing procedures as outlined by the management team.
Process payments and handle transactions accurately, ensuring the correct application of any discounts or promotions.
Always uphold Marea’s standards of quality and service, adhering to health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
Participate in pre‑shift meetings to review menu changes, specials, and any specific guest requests.

Qualifications
Experience: Minimum 2‑3 years of experience as a server in an upscale or fine dining restaurant.
Strong knowledge of food, wine, and beverage service, with an ability to describe dishes and make pairing recommendations.
Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills; ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast‑paced environment.
Professional appearance with adherence to Marea’s dress code and grooming standards.
Flexible schedule with availability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Food Handler’s Certification and any other necessary certifications per California health regulations is a plus, but not required.
