What You Are Going To Be Doing…
Manage and build the Michigan region in sales and profits.
Set a strategic sales plan for the region’s sales and profits based on company objectives.
Establish strong relationships with existing customers, distributors, and end users.
Prospect for new business opportunities.
Participate in key food shows to sell new customers and develop relations with key current customers.
Train distributor sales team.
Make distributor and operator sales calls with brokers.
Serve as a liaison with the company’s customer care department to resolve problems related to customers’ equipment needs, products, lead times, pricing, and other related issues.
Investigate and resolve customer product quality issues.
Negotiate marketing programs with distributors.
Analyze customer produce mix vs. spending to identify ways to increase profit margin.
Develop, prospect, and pursue top line pipeline account targets.
Update CRM daily.
What You Need To Have… Core Competencies:

Background:
BS or BA preferred.
5 years of business development and/or sales in the food service industry.
Experience in distributor and end‑user development.
Must reside in a major metropolitan area in Michigan.
