POSITION SUMMARY
The Social Media Community Engagement Coordinator is responsible for supporting the organization’s social media presence and engagement efforts. This individual is responsible for scheduling and publishing daily content, monitor audience interactions, track analytics, ensure consistent & positive brand presence and help ensure adherence to social media policies and brand guidelines across all platforms. The role works closely with the content and marketing teams to execute and optimize social media activity. RESPONSIBILITIES Content Management Post daily content across all social media platforms in alignment with the social strategy and content calendar.
Assist with basic graphics, copywriting and multimedia assets management.
Community Engagement & Monitoring Monitor social channels for comments, messages and reviews.
Respond promptly, professionally and compassionately using brand-appropriate responses to both positive and negative comments.
Flag and escalate potential issues or sensitive comments/inquiries to management as needed.
Analytics & Reporting Track social media performance using analytics and social media management tools.
Assist in evaluating post-performance, engagement metrics, and trends.
Prepare regular reports for department leadership to inform strategy adjustments.
Identify trending topics, conversations or potential concerns within our channels or posts.
Monitor topics or posts in the community related to AtlantiCare.
Trend Awareness & Innovation Stay current on social media trends, platforms and best practices.
Suggest new content ideas, engagement tactics and community initiatives to enhance audience interaction.
Policy & Compliance Ensure all social media activity adheres to organizational policies and compliance guidelines.
Audio/Video Support Provide basic support for multimedia content production, including recording, editing and uploading audio and video content (as needed).
QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, digital media, journalism or related field is required.
LICENSE/CERTIFICATION:
Relevant coursework or certifications in social media, digital marketing, or content creation is preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
3 -5 years’ relevant experience required; Familiarity with content creation, community management and engagement required. High-level understanding of social media trends, best practices and engagement strategies required. Excellent written and verbal communication, project management and organizational skills required.

Demonstrates the competencies as established on the Assessment and Evaluation Tool for this position. WORK ENVIRONMENT
This position requires some walking/standing and may have periods of sitting. Works with such equipment as computer, A/V equipment, printer, telephone and copier. Position requires some travel, flexibility of hours including weekends, evenings and coverage/support of special events. REPORTING RELATIONSHIP
