Job Description

Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.

Plan repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers.

Use tools such as cutting guns, plasma cutters, hydraulic jacks, hammers, and pliers to repair vehicle sections.

Repair dents, dimples, and other minor body damage; mix and apply filler resins when necessary.

Realign car chassis and frames to repair structural damage.

Remove damaged sections and replace them with new or aftermarket parts; repair glass and windshields as needed.

Replace or repair interior parts as required.

Weld and fit parts into place, then prepare and repaint vehicles with factory-specified paint or agreed-upon equivalent.

Attempt to complete work orders within labor time guidelines and inspect vehicles after repair.

Perform other related duties as assigned.

Education And/or Experience Required

High school diploma or equivalent.

Successful completion of a technical school program or a 3-year apprenticeship as an auto body repairer.

Required Skills/Abilities

Read job orders and work independently.

Collaborate with other repairers.

Understand methods and procedures for repairing vehicle bodies.

Operate required tools effectively.

Other Requirements

Work safely in a noisy area with odors.

Lift up to 30 pounds at times.

Visually inspect vehicle damage in various weather conditions.

Bend, stretch, kneel, and squat as needed for repairs and inspections.

$75,000+ annually depending on flagged hours per week
