Lamar Graphics in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, is seeking a Graphic Designer to join a team of 30+ designers to produce billboard and digital advertisements for Out-Of-Home (OOH) products including Outdoor, Digital, and Transit. A Graphic Artist’s primary responsibility is content creation for Lamar’s OOH products. What You Can Expect From Us

Ability to conceptualize, design and produce effective billboard advertising Computer literacy and proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop & Illustrator on PC) and Microsoft Excel Basic experience with HTML, CSS and PowerPoint Aptitude for large format layout and graphic design Ability to manipulate art from collateral materials as illustrated on websites or in printed portfolios; strong written and verbal communications Ability to brainstorm and mock-up design ideas Ability to multi-task, prioritize deadlines and manage and execute projects Good vision and not color-blind Ability to work amicably in a cubicle environment with other employees or clients Education And Experience
Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or related field Notes

Develop artwork for billboards and digital displays for a variety of business types Collaborate with ad agencies, media buying services, advertisers, and Lamar sales to implement promotional and merchandising campaigns Write and edit copy as needed Assist in scheduling spots on the digital display network Occasional market rides to inspect and photograph inventory Communicate with other Lamar territory offices to fulfill art requests Physical Demands And Work Environment
The primary work environment is the office The physical demands include light lifting, reading-focused vision, sitting most of the day, and talking Nights traveling away from home are less than 10% Application Instructions
