Job Description We are seeking a motivated, self-starter

Sales Support Representative

to join our team.

This entry-level role offers a path to becoming a Sales Representative. The Sales Support Representative provides clerical and administrative support to the Sales Manager, ensuring smooth communication and follow-up with existing and prospective customers. This position reports directly to the Sales Manager.

Sales Support Representative Primary Responsibilities

Manage and resolve customer inquiries and issues.

Accurate order entry via manual, API, EDI, email and online platforms.

Verify item availability and confirm stock.

Maintain and monitor open order reports.

Troubleshoot and resolve order discrepancies.

Handle inbound customer emails/calls.

Manage customer returns.

Participate in product training and self-study.

Perform additional duties as assigned.

Develop relationships with key contacts with Sales, Marketing, Operations and Finance, and externally with vendors

Execute service contracts

Requirements

Highly organized, resourceful, accurate, detail oriented with time management skills

Ability to learn quickly and retain training information

Excellent written and phone communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.

Works autonomously with no supervision

Proficiency in database management, CRM, ERP, Microsoft 365/Outlook and other software programs.

3–5 years of customer service or sales support experience preferred.

Experience in distribution and/or channel sales a plus

High school diploma required; college degree preferred.

Oracle experience a plus.

Entry-level position with growth opportunities.
