Vault Sales Manager
The Vault Sales Manager is responsible for overseeing all showroom (Vault) operations, inventory strategy, sales execution, and customer experience for retail. This role ensures appropriate stocking levels across all product lines, leads annual retail sales events, manages Vault staff, and serves as the primary liaison between sales teams, Artisans, and key partners. The Vault Sales Manager plays a critical role in driving revenue growth and operational excellence while coordinating inventory planning, product flow, and product availability to support a consistently elevated customer experience.
Inventory Strategy & Management
Maintain appropriate stocking levels across all product lines year-round
Work closely with the President to define stocking levels for reorderable Vault collections
Maintain inventory tracking systems, ordering tools, and line sheets
Lead periodic inventory counts and the annual Vault inventory count
Ensure necessary product is stocked and ready prior to appointments, trade shows, road travel, and retail events
Create and execute strategies to sell through stale Vault inventory, in collaboration with the Wholesale Sales Director
Serve as the primary point of contact for Vault inventory and retail stocking levels
Cultivate and maintain strong working relationships with key Artisans and vendor partners
Place Vault stock orders and customer orders with Artisans and vendors as needed
Plan, oversee, and execute 3–5 annual warehouse and retail sales events, including the PBD Tent Sale
Lead event strategy across marketing, merchandising, staffing schedules, staff training, and execution
Accountable for achieving agreed-upon sales goals for retail events
Support and lead retail and Vault appointments
Drive growth of Vault retail sales through event-based and appointment-driven strategies
Vendor & Artisan Relationships
Serve as the primary point of contact for Vault inventory and retail stocking levels
Cultivate and maintain strong working relationships with key Artisans and vendor partners
Place Vault stock orders and customer orders with Artisans and vendors as needed
Sales Leadership & Events
Plan, oversee, and execute 3–5 annual warehouse and retail sales events, including the PBD Tent Sale
Lead event strategy across marketing, merchandising, staffing schedules, staff training, and execution
Accountable for achieving agreed-upon sales goals for retail events
Support and lead retail and Vault appointments
Drive growth of Vault retail sales through event-based and appointment-driven strategies
Showroom Operations & Merchandising
Ensure the Vault is consistently well merchandised and customer-ready for retail and wholesale appointments
Implement creative merchandising strategies that drive increased Vault sales
Maintain the Vault appointment calendar and communicate schedules to sales and cleaning teams
Oversee packing, documentation, and product flow for trade shows, road travel, and photoshoots
Maintain expert knowledge of jewelry product, including artists, stones, tribes, dates, and collections
Oversee Vault pricing to ensure required margins and perceived value
Maintain accurate pricing records for all Vault collections
Document one-of-a-kind Vault purchases as requested by the CEO and President
Product Knowledge, Pricing & Documentation
Maintain expert knowledge of jewelry product, including artists, stones, tribes, dates, and collections
Oversee Vault pricing to ensure required margins and perceived value
Maintain accurate pricing records for all Vault collections
Document one-of-a-kind Vault purchases as requested by the CEO and President
Repairs & Additional Tasks
Oversee customer repair intake, pricing, vendor distribution, and timelines with Repair Coordinator
Required Skills
2+ years in the jewelry industry or equivalent
Proficient to expert level at Canva, Microsoft, and Google Sheets
Proficient at Quickbooks or a similar program
