This is a full-time on-site role for a Sales Manager – SLED/GEM from AT&T.

The

Sales Manager – SLED/GEM

is responsible for leading and growing sales within

State, Local, and Education (SLED)

and

Government/Education Markets (GEM)

based in Texas. This role focuses on developing strategic relationships with public sector clients, managing a sales team, and driving revenue through technology, communications, and networking solutions.

The Sales Manager oversees account strategy, pipeline development, forecasting, and contract negotiations while ensuring compliance with government procurement processes. They collaborate closely with internal teams—such as product, engineering, and customer success—to deliver customized solutions that meet the unique needs of public sector customers.

Coaching and performance management of sales representatives

Identifying new business opportunities
