The Position (Summary)
The After Market Sales Manager will be responsible for all aspects of the company’s aftermarket sales. The successful candidate will be an experienced technical sales professional with a track record in proactive customer interaction and achieving sustained revenue and earnings growth. The position will direct and control the operation of the Aftermarket Department and will interface closely with all other departments to ensure an effective customer service 24/7/365.
Minimum Essential Requirements
Strong computer navigation and Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel experience
Expert level experience with ERP/MRP systems and inventory management software
Technical knowledge of low volume, high value capital equipment preferably within the tire and rubber industry
Proactively promote the sale of replacement parts and support services, and achieve annual parts and service sales objectives
Responsible for all aspects of the company’s technical sales and services to customers
Direct and control operation of the Aftermarket Sales Team
Organize and operate a 24-hour customer support facility
Work with other departments to achieve minimum 95% on-time delivery
Implement new technology to enhance customers supply chain
Direct the demand side of the Aftermarket Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) team
Direct pricing/sales strategy for existing and new customers purchasing aftermarket components
Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and updates for senior level management, providing insight into sales performance and market/industry trends
Direct, develop, implement, and drive strategic aftermarket business initiatives and metrics for key customers and markets globally
Experienced in working with data analysis, forecasting and reporting
Preferred Key Requirements
Service management knowledge in a machinery manufacturing setting
Capital equipment sales and/or technical service experience
Experience in marketing literature preparation and use of digital and web-based media for marketing purposes
Manufacturing experience with ERP systems (Microsoft D365)
Tire/rubber industry experience
Experience and Education
Experience:
9+ years’ supervisory experience in a technical sales position, preferably in a manufacturing environment
Education:
Technical Degree, advanced degree or equivalent combined with relevant job specific experience
Communication:
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal communication
Technology
Expert level use of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
ERP/MRP (Microsoft D365) and Business Intelligence desired
Position will require daily utilization of Microsoft Teams, D365, and Microsoft Office Suite
Travel Requirements 25-40%, Domestic and International
