Protect lives and property through quality fire protection installation Support project schedules through productive installation Ensure code compliance and system reliability Build safety culture on jobsites Responsibilities
Install fire sprinkler pipe systems including main risers and branch lines Cut, thread, and fit steel and CPVC sprinkler pipe Install sprinkler heads, hangers, and supports per NFPA standards Coordinate with other trades on installation sequences Review shop drawings and coordinate with foremen Perform hydrostatic testing of completed systems Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition Follow all safety protocols and OSHA requirements Requirements
Must-Haves 3+ years of sprinkler installation experience Knowledge of NFPA 13 and fire protection codes Ability to read blueprints and isometric drawings Pipe threading and fabrication skills Valid driver's license Nice-to-Haves Journeyman Sprinkler Fitter certification OSHA 10-hour construction safety Welding certification Experience with underground fire protection systems Compensation & Logistics
