Responsibilities

Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

Install, assemble, and test fire sprinkler systems according to blueprints, specifications, and NFPA standards

Cut, thread, and install steel pipe, cooper, and CPVC pipe

Perform service repairs and routine maintenance on existing systems

Read and interpret plans, drawings, and hydraulic calculations

Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, general contractors, and other trades

Conduct inspections and ensure systems meet code requirements

Maintain safe work practices, comply with OSHA and company safety standards

Qualifications

At least 18 years of age and authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.

Journey-level Sprinkler Fitter or Fire Protection license preferred

Minimum of 4+ years experience in fire installation and/or service

Strong knowledge of NFPA codes and fire protection standards

Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and walk for extended periods; work from ladders, lifts, and in varying environments

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on active construction sites

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Preferred but not required: Pre-action fire suppression experience, NICET level I or II in sprinkler systems, backflow certification
