Job Description The Field Technician (Sprinkler Inspector) is responsible for testing, inspecting, and repairing water‑based fire protection systems and their components. You'll ensure systems are fully functional, document any deficiencies, and provide exceptional service to customers and internal teams.

Responsibilities

Complete inspections and services following manufacturer instructions, codes, standards, and company policies

Schedule inspections and communicate with customers effectively

Provide detailed documentation of inspections for Eagle Fire, customers, and authorities having jurisdiction

Report system discrepancies and recommended repairs to Eagle Fire and the customer

Maintain certifications and continue education to stay current

Work safely at all times and stop unsafe activities when necessary

Perform other related duties as needed

What We’re Looking For

NICET II certification required (minimum 5 years of inspections/testing experience with water‑based systems)

Experience reading and interpreting diagrams, blueprints, and specifications

Fire sprinkler service/inspection experience with manufacturer certifications preferred

Strong knowledge of fire protection codes and standards

Excellent customer service and communication skills

Self‑starter, able to work independently

Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Ability to lift, crouch, push, pull, and work in confined spaces

Ability to work in extreme temperatures and noisy environments

Willingness to travel monthly to Nashville, TN and Birmingham, AL; travel will decrease as local growth continues
