Catholic Community Foundation - Cleveland, Ohio Planned Giving Relationship Manager (Campaign-Focused) Position Overview The Planned Giving Relationship Manager (PGRM) will play a central role in the diocesan-wide capital campaign by helping parishes and donors explore legacy giving opportunities that will sustain the Church for future generations. Rooted in the mission of the Catholic Community Foundation this role emphasizes education, relational outreach, and support to encourage thoughtful, faith-rooted planned giving. Key Responsibilities Serve as a resource to pastors and parish leaders in promoting legacy giving as a natural expression of stewardship and faith. Invite parishioners to consider planned gifts in both one-on-one leadership gift settings and group reception gatherings. Cultivate interest in legacy giving by helping parishioners reflect on how their values and commitment to the Church can shape their long-term impact. Coach pastors on how to introduce and lead legacy conversations in a pastoral and mission-centered way. Support parishes in establishing or promoting endowments through the Catholic Community Foundation. Guide parish teams in incorporating planned giving messages into parish communications, including bulletins and websites. Serve as a liaison to donors’ professional advisors as needed. Coordinate documentation of planned gift intentions and maintain accurate records. Assist pastors and parish leaders in appropriately acknowledging and stewarding legacy donors. Participate in Foundation team meetings to share updates, refine strategies, and collaborate across roles. Qualifications Practicing Catholic with a strong understanding of Church teaching on stewardship and legacy. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field. Experience in planned giving, estate planning, development, or donor engagement strongly preferred. Development experience preferred but not required. Strong communication skills and a pastoral, thoughtful approach to donor conversations. Comfortable discussing legacy planning in both one-on-one and small group settings. Well-organized and attentive to detail, with the ability to manage multiple follow-ups and relationships. Team-oriented with a collaborative and mission-driven mindset. Willingness to travel throughout the diocese; evening availability as needed. To Apply:
