Overview Collaborate with a team to deliver the finest produce presentation, teach customers daily the benefits of fresh produce, and provide extraordinary customer service in a fast‑paced environment.
Responsibilities
Stock the Produce department (present product, facing, filling, and organization).
Prepare, trim, water, and merchandise produce to ensure high quality.
Maintain inventory control, rotating merchandise and ensuring accurate tag and pricing.
Answer customer questions in a friendly and helpful manner.
Perform tasks required for the role while adhering to safety, health, OSHA, and Weights and Measures regulations.
Stand, walk, bend, climb, lift, and maneuver heavy objects up to 50 lb.; walk up to 5 miles in an 8‑hour shift.
Handle other related duties as assigned.
Team Members under the age of 18 are restricted from using knives (other than safety cutters), ladders, garbage or cardboard compactor, any motor/electronically powered equipment (including manual pallet jacks), and working in coolers or freezers for prolonged periods.
Qualifications
Minimum 16 years of age.
Dependable, reliable, and able to work a flexible schedule (including nights, weekends, and holidays).
Positive attitude and strong customer interaction skills.
Good communication skills; able to take direction and participate in a team environment.
Capable of performing repetitive activities, multitasking, and staying organized.
Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, and lift up to 50 lb., plus maneuver a utility cart with up to 20 lb. of force.
Ability to walk up to 5 miles in an 8‑hour shift.
Adherence to safety, health, OSHA, and Weights and Measures regulations.
Willingness to perform related duties as assigned.
