This is a high-trust, high-impact role that blends meaningful, personal donor care with strong operational ownership. This position ensures that every donor feels known, valued, and connected to the impact of their generosity—while also safeguarding the accuracy, reliability, and sustainability of our monthly giving program. As Donor Relations Coordinator, you will steward donor relationships end-to-end, partnering closely with Communications, Finance, and our Programs team to ensure generosity is honored and impact is clearly communicated. Your work directly fuels Sozo Children’s ability to rescue, restore, and replicate hope through Christ. What You’ll Do

Steward Monthly Donor & Sponsor Relationships Serve as a primary, caring point of contact for monthly donors and sponsors Respond promptly and thoughtfully to donor inquiries and requests Welcome new monthly donors with intentional onboarding and early relationship-building Maintain ongoing stewardship through personalized updates, gratitude, and milestone acknowledgments Offer prayer and spiritual encouragement when appropriate and invited Navigate sensitive situations with empathy, discretion, and follow-through Own Monthly Giving Operations Manage monthly giving schedules, renewals, upgrades, downgrades, pauses, and cancellations Proactively address missed payments and donor changes with pastoral sensitivity Track and improve retention, recovery, and long-term donor engagement Maintain dashboards and reports that reflect donor health and monthly revenue trends Maintain accurate donor records and giving histories Partner with Finance to support reconciliation, reporting, and audit readiness Uphold strong data hygiene and confidentiality standards Work with Communications to align donor messaging, tone, and storytelling Coordinate with Programs to ensure donors receive appropriate impact updates Document processes and continuously improve donor care workflows Support volunteer or team training related to donor care when needed Who We’re Looking For

You may be a great fit if you: Have experience in donor relations, customer success, or nonprofit operations Are a warm, confident communicator—especially on the phone Are highly organized, detail-oriented, and dependable Enjoy managing systems and improving processes Have experience using a CRM or donor database (strongly preferred) Can balance compassion with clarity and healthy boundaries Are aligned with Sozo Children’s mission and values and handle confidential information with care What We Offer
