The Donor Data & Relations Specialist ensures accurate, efficient donor systems and data management while supporting donor relations to provide timely acknowledgments and a positive experience. The role requires a detail‑oriented, process‑driven professional skilled in maintaining complex systems to help JMI steward donors effectively.
Responsibilities
Maintain accurate donor and gift records in Salesforce, Reach, and other systems
Ensure data integrity, security, and consistency across all donor information
Manage database automations, integrations, and process improvements
Generate reports and dashboards to track giving trends and campaign performance
Analyze donor and financial data to guide development strategy
Coordinate thank‑you letters, receipts, and donor touchpoints
Support personalized stewardship for major and recurring donors
Respond to donor inquiries and assist in cultivating new donor relationships
Oversee special mailings and prepare donor impact reports with leadership
Qualifications
3+ years in nonprofit or fundraising roles, with experience in donor data systems and relations
Proficient in donor management software and Microsoft Office Suite
Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills with attention to detail
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple projects, work independently, and collaborate with a team
Passion for the Gospel and the mission of serving vulnerable people worldwide
Education Minimum
Bachelor’s degree in a related field; 3 years of donor data systems experience preferred
