Entry-Level Collections Specialist – HOA & Condominium Assessments Location:
Severna Park, Maryland – In-office for first 60 days, hybrid remote thereafter Salary:
Commensurate with experience About Us: We are a collegial law firm dedicated to helping homeowners’ associations (HOAs) and condominium boards efficiently manage delinquent assessments. Our team values professionalism, teamwork, and providing high-quality service to our clients. Overview: We are seeking a motivated Entry-Level Collections Specialist to join our team. This role will focus on the collections of delinquent HOA and condominium assessments and will involve both legal and client-facing responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: Draft court pleadings, including complaints, motions, garnishments, levies, and writs. Prepare and file liens and correspondence to delinquent owners. Manage reporting and communications with clients. Handle settlement discussions and negotiate payment plans with delinquent owners. Maintain organized records and ensure compliance with firm procedures. Skills & Qualifications: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines. Excellent interpersonal and telephone communication skills. Self-motivated, responsible, and capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously. Legal or paralegal experience is a plus but not required. Collegial and supportive team culture.
