Location: Bentonville, AR | Salary: $40,000.00‑$60,000.00
Overview The Parts Specialist provides a high level of service to retail and installer customers while supporting store management in accomplishing assigned tasks. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
Follow and promote company customer‑service programs (Hi‑5, Low Price Guarantee, Rock the Call, etc.).
Promptly greet retail and walk‑in customers in a friendly, courteous manner and assist them in selecting merchandise.
Assist managers and installer service specialists in serving professional customers as needed.
Complete assigned company training relevant to the position.
Provide excellent service to customers calling the store, answering all calls, accurately looking up parts, quoting prices, recommending premium and related items, and offering the Low‑Price Guarantee.
Accurately maintain and secure the cash drawer, accept cash and checks, make change, and process credit‑card transactions.
Process exchanges and returns for credit in a friendly manner, following company policies and procedures.
Address and resolve customer complaints in a friendly manner.
Assist with daily image‑maker and planogram updates, including freight receival, stocking shelves, fronting and facing, cleaning, etc.
Perform operational tasks such as preparing merchandise returns for the distribution center, assisting with monthly stock adjustments and inventory cycle counts.
Operate brake lathe and other store test equipment after training and company requirements are met.
Perform in‑store services for customers (where state and local laws allow), such as installing wipers, testing and charging batteries, testing charging systems, scanning vehicle trouble codes, and replacing headlight capsules.
Occasionally drive a delivery vehicle to make deliveries when business needs dictate (meeting company driving eligibility requirements).
Perform all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
Ability to provide outstanding, friendly, and professional customer service.
Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store simultaneously.
Desired Skills
Familiar with automotive parts, cataloging, weatherly index system, automotive sales or service.
ASE certification.
Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).
