Overview Job Title: Sales Manager Location: Jersey City, New Jersey Type: Direct Hire Compensation: $100,000 annual base + commission Contractor Work Model: Onsite Hours/Shift: Standard business hours, plus field travel as needed

The Sales Manager will lead and manage a blended sales team of W-2 employees and 1099 distributors, drive revenue growth, build customer relationships, and execute national sales strategies. This is a high-impact leadership role with direct visibility to the CEO and President.

Qualifications

Minimum 10 years proven sales experience

Experience managing W-2 sales representatives and 1099 distributor networks

Strong background in medical device, healthcare, pharmaceutical, or manufacturing sales

Ability to lead, coach, and develop a sales team

Top Skills / Experience

Proven sales leadership with 5+ years management experience

Deep medical device or healthcare industry knowledge

Experience managing 1099 distributor networks

Salesforce/CRM proficiency with strong forecasting and pipeline management

Educational Requirement: Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Science, Business, or related field

Industry Experience: Medical device, healthcare, pharmaceutical, or manufacturing

Level: Senior

Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and develop a sales team of W-2s and 1099 distributors

Build and maintain relationships with hospitals, clinics, healthcare providers, and distributors

Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed a 10x salary revenue target

Conduct product training, demos, and field support for distributors

Maintain accurate sales activities, forecasts, and reporting in Salesforce

Identify new business opportunities and expand market intelligence

Collaborate with marketing, product development, and customer service teams

Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and quality standards

Serve as main contact between company and 1099 reps

Monitor and track all sales activity for the team and distributors
