The Role The Executive Sous Chef serves as the operational and creative backbone of a multi‑outlet culinary program, supporting the Executive Chef in leading a dynamic team across a signature restaurant, lobby bar, rooftop venue, and curated private events. This role is ideal for a chef who loves the rhythm of a busy urban hotel, excels at mentoring talent, and brings a modern, ingredient‑driven approach to menu development.
You will be entrusted with driving consistency, elevating standards, and ensuring that every plate—whether a tasting‑menu dish or a high‑volume banquet entrée—reflects the property’s commitment to excellence. This is a
hands‑on leadership role
where your presence in the kitchen matters, your palate shapes the guest experience, and your operational discipline keeps the engine running smoothly.
What You’ll Lead
Daily oversight of culinary operations across multiple outlets, ensuring flawless execution and a cohesive culinary identity
Collaborative menu development with the Executive Chef, contributing ideas rooted in seasonality, technique, and global influence
Leadership and mentorship of a diverse culinary team, fostering growth, accountability, and a culture of pride
Quality control, recipe standardization, and training to maintain consistency at scale
Partnership with F&B leadership to elevate service flow, guest satisfaction, and revenue opportunities
Stewardship of kitchen financials, including labor management, food cost, and inventory discipline
Active involvement in pre‑service tastings, VIP experiences, and special events that showcase the property’s culinary point of view
