The

Remote Proofreader

will manage the accuracy of all client email and website materials. Pay:

$21.17/hour Shift:

M-F, 8:00am to 5:00pm Responsibilities

Check misspellings, incorrect punctuation, and consistency in typography, words and style. Review colleague work to ensure the original request meets the final product. Confirm website page copy, images, referral links, meta data, correct practice/industry tags, authors and contacts, and that publication type is associated with the page. Emails fall into three categories: events, newsletters or alerts. Confirm accuracy and correct format of dates, authors, practices/industries and UTM links. For newsletters, confirm all CTA links point to accurate landing pages and updates are fulfilled. For events, verify accuracy of all event details, images, and landing page functionality. Confirm rendering of material from email rendering tool or webpage browser experience. Communicate with key stakeholders involved with the process. Qualifications

Excellent organizational, interpersonal, communication and customer service skills. Excellent editorial and written skills. Self‑motivated, highly organized individual able to multi‑task and prioritize. Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment. Comfortable working on a large team. Minimum 3 years of experience with email or website copy editing. Basic knowledge of HTML. Law firm experience is a plus. Who we are
