About the Position
The account manager for Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) Software serves as the primary strategic partner for new and established clients in high‑stakes industries such as aerospace, automotive, industrial equipment, and machinery. This role focuses on developing new customers, effective relationship management, high‑value renewals, and expanding the software’s footprint within existing accounts. This is an exciting opportunity for an energetic team player with a drive for achievement who is looking to grow their sales career. The position will also work with the other team members to ensure our high level of customer satisfaction is maintained.
The account manager reports to the operations manager currently but may change over time.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for using various systems to track, gather information and answer customer inquiries
Identifies customer needs in CFD and works to meet those needs using sales tools and techniques, as well as with help from a CFD technical expert
Provides appropriate training information
Strives to sell the product that best meets each customer's needs
Working in a team‑oriented environment
Meets key performance metrics such as sales, productivity and quality requirements
Performs other duties as requested, including attending required meetings
Skill/Job Requirements:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
A business college degree or the equivalent experience is desired.
A college degree in mechanical engineering with the necessary communication skills is a bonus.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Demonstrate proficiency with our customer relationship management (CRM) system.
Must possess effective verbal and written communication skills
Must perform well in high‑energy, dynamic, and team‑oriented organization.
