Outside Sales Representative

– Moline, IL RiverStone Group, Inc., a family‑owned building materials company with over 130 years of experience, is seeking a full‑time Outside Sales Representative to drive sales and expand market share for brick, stone, and masonry projects in Moline, IL. We’re looking for a highly motivated sales professional who excels at building relationships with a variety of clients, including architects, engineers, general contractors, homebuilders, and homeowners. Responsibilities

Continue to provide exceptional service to valued local customers and partners, cultivating relationships by understanding their evolving needs. Take an active role in proposing sales strategies, providing feedback to leadership on market trends, customer needs, and competitive intelligence. Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of all products and best installation processes, guiding customers from product selection through installation. Generate and manage sales proposals, orders, and follow‑up processes to ensure smooth project execution. Build and foster deep, trust‑based relationships with new clients across diverse segments. Collaborate with team members, sharing insights and best practices to foster a culture of growth, competence, and development. Take a proactive approach to customer service by anticipating challenges and providing solutions before problems arise. Serve as a market ambassador, representing RiverStone Group at key industry events such as trade shows and networking events. Other job duties as assigned. Qualifications

Proven track record of exceeding sales goals and driving market expansion in a consultative sales environment. Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong drive to build business, not just sell products. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to navigate complex sales situations, read customer needs, and adapt communication styles. Demonstrated ability to work cross‑functionally, leveraging internal resources to deliver a seamless customer experience. Experience with complex projects requiring coordination with multiple stakeholders (architects, engineers, builders). Ability to adapt quickly to changing market conditions and company objectives while maintaining focus on core sales goals. Innovative problem‑solver with a track record of developing creative solutions to meet client needs and drive sales. A valid driver’s license and a good driving record are required.
