as a part‑time Field Merchandiser. You will work independently to showcase your organization, time‑management, and people‑skills while representing Hallmark to store teams.
Job Overview As a Field Merchandiser, you will:
Collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement and maintain inventory levels.
Support fellow team members with seasonal resets and installations as needed.
Occasionally work with products from other companies in the stores you service.
Salary and Schedule Details
Starting hourly pay rate: $15.00 – $17.00, depending on skills and experience.
Part‑time position with variable schedule during the work week.
Average weekly hours: 11 – 15 hours.
Availability the week before and after major holidays, which may include weekends, is required.
Your Role and Responsibilities Will Include
Day‑to‑day engagement:
Use a Hallmark mobile device to restock, organize, and monitor inventory. Communicate with supervisors, report time, provide feedback, and answer required merchandising surveys. Interact politely with store employees, management, and customers.
Holiday support:
During peak seasonal periods (Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas), expect additional days and extended hours, including holidays themselves.
Department resets:
Participate in installations, fixture relocations, and department resets. You will be notified two weeks in advance for remodeling assignments, which may involve evenings or weekends.
Team collaboration:
Work as part of Hallmark’s field network, supporting other merchandisers as needed within your territory.
Physical Requirements This is a physically demanding role requiring the ability to:
Push, pull, lift, and carry cartons, merchandise, and display fixtures up to 30 pounds daily and up to 50 pounds on occasion.
Stand, walk, kneel, squat, and occasionally climb stairs or step ladders, both on the selling floor and in back stockrooms.
Basic Qualifications
At least 18 years of age.
Ability to read, write, and understand English.
Physical ability to lift 30 lbs frequently and 50 lbs occasionally.
Proficiency with a digital hand‑held device for document access and information interpretation.
Access to a Wi‑Fi network and internet.
Reliable transportation to travel to assigned stores on schedule.
