The Sales Support Associate role is an integral part of the store’s overall success and efficiency, delivering friendly, efficient service at the cash wrap and maintaining a well-organized sales floor. Accurate and effective work supports the flow of product from receipt to point of sale.

Responsibilities

Cash Wrap: Greet customers with a smile and eye contact, and introduce yourself; interact genuinely; read cues to determine needs; conduct email/name capture where permitted by law; maintain accuracy at the POS; keep the cash wrap organized and clean; suggest add-ons and sell gift cards; maintain cash/POS media in compliance with Coach policy; thank customers and provide reasons to return; represent the Coach brand appropriately.

Stockroom / Warehouse: Receive shipments and transfers; notify Store Management when new product arrives; scan cartons/transfers and verify information; report discrepancies; process shipments/transfers per Coach standards and timelines; organize the stockroom daily (including offsite/remote warehouse as applicable); adjust product placement based on sell-through; manage stock levels back-of-house and on the sales floor; perform regular cycle counts and participate in physical inventories; maintain Loss Prevention standards.

Sales Floor: Regularly analyze replenishment needs; replenish the sales floor/assigned zone; respond to sell-through and execute visual merchandising needs; support sales floor activities as directed; communicate price points, features/benefits, color, and stock availability to customers; assist customers and collaborate with the sales team or Store Management as needed; uphold housekeeping standards.

Qualifications and Requirements

Experience: 1-3 years of retail experience (cashier/stock/sales), preferably in luxury retail; knowledge of fashion trends and marketplace competition.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.

Technical: Knowledge of cash register systems; basic computer skills (iPad/laptop, Mobile POS, Internet); use of walkie talkie; ability to read price and product release sheets.

Physical: Ability to work at a fast pace; capable of maneuvering on the sales floor and stockroom; ability to climb, bend, kneel; frequently lift up to 25 pounds and up to 50 pounds for shipments/transfers.

Schedule: Ability to meet scheduling and availability expectations, including flexible schedules, nights, weekends, and holidays during high retail traffic periods.

Compensation and Benefits BASE PAY RANGE: $15.00 - $19.50 hourly. Tapestry complies with minimum wage requirements based on city, county, and state regulations.
