Allied Automation, Inc, a growing high technology distributor is seeking a District Sales Representative for greater Indianapolis and surrounding areas.

OPPORTUNITY As our District Sales Representative, you will be responsible for executing account strategies and tactics while developing long-term relationships. Your role allows you to work with some of the latest technologies in the ever-changing industrial automation industry, including robotics and other advanced solutions. Reporting to the Vice President of Sales, you will be an integral part of a cutting-edge organization.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Develop and support sales strategies and objectives to expand market share in the region
Monitor progress and make necessary adjustments to reach your objectives
Initiate and develop contact with key and target customers to establish long-term relationships
Develop knowledge in the primary product areas, including Robotics, PLC, HMI, Servos/Motion Control, Safety Devices, Sensors, and Networking
Consult on applications with customers in the primary product area
Consistently use PC-based software to document sales opportunities, and coordinate required sales activities between other regions, and management
Perform other essential duties as assigned
SUCCESS FACTORS
Bachelor’s or associate degree in mechanical/electrical or Technical Field (bachelor’s degree preferred)
Knowledge of industrial controls, as well as machine applications
Experience with End User specifications; awareness of the industrial automation industry
Ability to generate, negotiate and meet sales goals
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills
Independent, self-starter, capable of conducting technical and sales presentations
Organized, detail-oriented and capable of follow-through
Time management skills to manage a high-level sales volume
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS Allied Automation, Inc. will reward your talents with a total compensation of $145K-$170K.
You will also receive an excellent benefit package including medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, vacations, holidays, and a $500/month car allowance.
