Position Summary We are seeking several skilled, reliable, and customer-focused Maintenance Technicians to join our growing team. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong work ethic, a broad range of maintenance / handyman skills, and a desire to work in a fast-paced, supportive environment.

As a Maintenance Technician at Peak, you will be responsible for visiting our properties and completing maintenance requests, inspections, and general maintenance and repair work for both residential and commercial properties. Candidates should be comfortable working independently, communicating clearly, and taking ownership of their responsibilities.

This is a full-time position and we expect a 40-hour work week. The goal is to achieve 38 hours billed in a 40-hour week.

Primary Responsibilities

Perform a wide range of general maintenance and repair tasks across properties

Complete preventative maintenance and inspections with thorough documentation

Respond to urgent or emergency maintenance issues as needed

Communicate professionally with tenants, owners, vendors, and team members

Coordinate with Field Supervisor and Director of Maintenance to prioritize work orders

Maintain clean and organized job sites and work vehicles

Uphold company standards for workmanship, professionalism, and safety

Deliver consistently high-quality service with a goal of earning 5-star reviews

Become proficient with company software to communicate and document

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent

At least one year of relevant maintenance, construction, or skilled trade experience

EPA/HVAC Certification Preferred

Plumbing Experience Preferred

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

Ability to pass a background check and drug screening

Must provide references for past work or demonstrate applicable skills

Reliable transportation is required

Must be physically capable of performing manual maintenance tasks and lifting up to 50 lbs

Comfortable using smartphones and software to manage work orders

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Must be dependable, trustworthy, and detail-oriented

No smoking on job sites or in company vehicles (if provided)

Compensation and Benefits

Hourly pay range: $20.00 to $30.00 per hour, based on experience

Work Schedule Full-time, Monday through Friday- 40 hours.

On-call rotation required.
