Job Overview:
Join our El Super Store Operations Team as a Bulk Deli Cheese Clerk. Provide friendly, courteous, and helpful service; assist customers, clean, fill and rotate the cheese and deli displays in the Bulk Deli.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist customers throughout the entire shift
Clean, fill, and rotate the cheese and deli displays
Maintain the cleanliness of the department
Replenish product as instructed by the Bulk Deli Manager or Assistant Bulk Deli Manager
Perform physical tasks: lift up to 25 lbs regularly, up to 45 lbs frequently, and up to 60 lbs occasionally; standing, walking, kneeling
Qualifications:
Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, and memos
Write simple correspondence
Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees
Apply common-sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
Food Handler Card or equivalent certification required
Preferred Qualities:
Basic PC/Outlook skills
Retail Management Certificate
