Responsibilities As a Management Analyst 2, you will review liability imposed on residents of state mental health hospitals, intellectual disability centers, and units. You will prepare procedural updates to the Facility Reimbursement Operations Manual (FROM), provide direction to field offices, and develop and disseminate reports. You will also approve requests for reduction in liability, analyze records, conduct on‑site reviews at facility reimbursement offices, represent the department at hearings, prepare daily deposit records, and conduct topic‑specific training for reimbursement operations management and staff.

Work Schedule and Additional Information

Full‑time employment, 37.5 hours per week

Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday – Friday, with a 30‑minute lunch

Telework: Part‑time up to three days per week; requires a securely configured high‑speed internet connection and an approved location inside Pennsylvania, or you can report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. Telework is subject to change; details may be provided during the interview.

Salary: Starting salary may be non‑negotiable in some cases

Qualifications Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

One year of experience as a Management Analyst 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title)

Two years of experience in technical management analysis work and a bachelor’s degree

Any equivalent combination of experience and training.

Other Requirements:
