Job Description SAC is looking for a dedicated employee with interest in the purchasing field. The ideal candidate will have experience in procurement of materials, communicating with vendors, and inventory control. This role will work directly with the Senior Buyer at our Clearfield location. Must be detail oriented!
Typical Responsibilities
Assemble, track, and communicate updates to Engineering drawings
Creation of material takeoffs, material breakdowns and other documentation for the procurement process
Monitor progress of deliverables to be sure we are on track to meet client expectations
Coordinate with fabrication and purchasing on status of material shipments
Work in various software systems, including but not limited to: CRM, ClickUp, & Egnyte
Assist with meetings notes and coordination as needed
Desired Skills & Experience
2+ years of experience in a production or construction environment is preferred
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high‑pressure environment
Interest in learning about the construction industry, to include terminology & contract drawings
Strong communication skills at all levels of the organization
Problem‑solving & critical thinking skills, along with the confidence to make decisions independently
Must possess the following skills: organization, time‑management, detail‑oriented mindset and creativity
