Field Sales Representative
Reiser Locations:

As a Field Sales Representative, you will be responsible for sales growth, gross profit, and positive customer relationships in the territory consisting of Northern Chicago, IL and Greater Milwaukee, WI. We are looking for a dynamic and confident sales leader with experience selling processing or packaging capital equipment to food plants.
Essential Functions of the role: We have a regional approach to our sales and service teams. This representative will work directly with our Regional Sales Manager and should be based out of the greater Northern Chicago or Greater Milwaukee areas. This person is ultimately responsible for driving sales, growth, and gross profits of our processing and packaging equipment to new and existing customers. International travel may be required.
Works closely with the Field Sales Manager and Regional Sales Vice President on sales orders, sales generation, and sales planning.
Direct experience selling capital equipment or machinery (preferably in the food processing and/or packaging industry).
Professionally represent our products to new and existing customers.
Understands the importance of selling equipment with the added service component and working closely with the service team.
Comfortable communicating with people on the shop floor to presidents of companies.
Continually build pipelines through cold‑calling, networking and maintaining positive relationships.
Share best sales practices with the team.
Be actively involved with sales industry associations.
Ensure documentation and sales reports are accurate and received on time.
Help facilitate quotations, product samples and deliveries.
Work closely with the field service team to ensure full customer satisfaction.
Requirements & Qualifications – What you should bring to the company:
Three+ years of experience selling capital equipment or automated machinery; experience with consumables, parts, components, or supplies is not considered.
Experience with food processing and/or food packaging capital equipment is highly preferred.
An aggressive, enthusiastic, and determined individual with a proven track record of success.
Understanding of selling equipment alongside the service component and working closely with the service team.
Ability to work independently, prioritize, and multi‑task.
Comfortable communicating with people from shop floor to presidents.
Ability to travel 50–70% overnight during the week throughout Northern Illinois and Wisconsin.
An undergraduate degree is preferred but not required.
