Sales Advisor (H&M)
About the Role
As a Sales Advisor, you will provide excellent customer service, welcoming and guiding customers through the store to actively sell our products and offer support and guidance.
You will use your fashion and product knowledge to give customers the information they need for the best experience.
In addition to sales, you will work on garment refill & care, presentation, and contribute to a clean and tidy sales floor and back‑of‑house.
You will collaborate closely with the rest of your store team to deliver an outstanding customer experience.
Customer Sales & Profit
Provide excellent customer service: welcoming & guiding customers through the store & OMNI experience where available.
Engage in conversations with customers to provide a personalised service.
Guide customers through our fashion trends, stories & products in all areas of the store.
Promote and sell our products effectively.
Actively promote the Customer Loyalty App (Hello Member) & in‑store sustainability initiatives.
Represent yourself and the H&M brand positively during all customer interactions.
Support commercial and operational actions to reach sales targets with the store management team.
Fashion & Trend Awareness
Keep up‑to‑date with fashion trends, styles, brands, products and competitors.
Use product & fashion knowledge to share relevant information with customers.
Team & Development
Retain and share service, fashion and store operations knowledge and skills with colleagues.
Follow all procedures, routines and legal requirements in the store.
Give and receive feedback with colleagues to learn and develop together.
Participate in relevant onboarding, introduction processes, training and courses for your role and future development.
Retail Operations / Visual & Commercial Execution
Complete the full garment cycle from unpacking, refill to steaming and ensure good garment care.
Operate fitting room and checkout areas according to best practice & processes.
Maintain a clean and tidy sales floor and back‑of‑house, including stockrooms.
Support garment presentation, execution and maintain attractive merchandise displays following visual & commercial guidelines.
Ensure good stock levels with replenishment routines on the sales floor.
Follow best practice for any in‑store OMNI services & tech services/tools.
Support opening and closing of the store.
Follow all health & safety guidelines and legal requirements applicable to the role.
Qualifications
Passionate about fashion and the products we create in‑store.
Motivated to give customers a great experience.
Communicative, creative, curious, motivated, flexible, decisive and action‑oriented.
Enjoys working in a collaborative and dynamic environment.
Has sales experience in a dynamic and collaborative setting that can be applied to this role.
Experience with customer service in fashion, retail or other service‑related industries.
