Overview As a Pro Sales Specialist, you will be a guide and consultant for every Pro customer who walks through our doors. Pro customers build, maintain, repair and operate across multiple properties and job sites. Your sales expertise helps our Pro customers find the products and services that advance their projects.

Key Responsibilities

Understand Pro business to locate, demonstrate, select, quote, and order merchandise.

Order products through the Fulfillment and Delivery network.

Communicate benefits of the Fulfillment and Delivery network.

Use CRM to build customer relationships and streamline processes.

Sign up customers for Pro rewards, Pro Credit, and Pro wallet.

Communicate stock, special order, feature benefits, application and warranty information.

Train cross-functionally to deliver best customer service.

Complete other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.

1-2 years sales experience identifying and selling products based on customer needs.

1-2 years experience providing customer service identifying and resolving issues, locating products, greeting, answering phones, building relationships.

Ability to sit, bend, stand, move around store and lift up to 25 lbs unassisted.

Available to work variety of shifts including nights and weekends.

Ability to use common retail technology such as smartphones and tablets.

Obtain sales‑related licensure or registration if required by state law.

Preferred Qualifications

1-2 years experience in sales or customer service in a sales environment with required sales goals or metrics.

1-2 years experience entering and submitting customer sales orders, including special sales orders.

Professional certification related to department.

Bi‑lingual skills.

Working Conditions Environmental factors vary by location. Exposure to varying climates, including extreme heat or cold, wet, damp, humid, windy, or drafty conditions. Lifting methods limit single lifts to 75 lbs. Team lifts used minimally. Powered equipment used as required with proper training or assistance from a trained coworker.
