LEAD SALES ASSOCIATE-PT in WEST HELENA, AR S02882
Dollar General is looking for a Lead Sales Associate – part time – to support a high‑performing store in West Helena, AR. The selected candidate will lead a small team of cashiers and stockers, maintain store presentation, and exceed customer service expectations. Responsibilities
Lead cashier activities, approve refunds, deposit bank checks. Open and close the store with Area Manager direction. Maintain register and cashier accountability, key control, and cash control procedures. Monitor cash levels, camera activity, change, and required paperwork. Stock, rotate and face merchandise, build displays, restock returned and recovered merchandise. Implement plan‑o‑gram and store presentation guidelines. Assist customers to locate merchandise, provide superior customer service leadership. Clean front end, maintain store floor, restroom, stockroom, sidewalk displays. Provide leadership to help maintain a clean, well‑organized store and facilitate a safe working and shopping environment. Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent and six months of supervisory experience (or related experience/training) preferred. Ability to perform mathematical calculations, addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages. Knowledge of cash handling procedures, cashier accountability, deposit control, IBM cash register functions. Knowledge of cash, facility and safety control policies and practices. Effective interpersonal and oral & written communication skills. Understanding of safety policies and practices. Ability to read and follow plan‑o‑gram, merchandise presentation guidance.
